Ok, I dun wan sound too angry, but I think I will anyway so wahtevs! :p
Here’s why:
I was out with S in town, and wen I got home, my MA thought she wud ask me sum random stupid ques!
She sed sumtin like, ” are ye sure about Stephen already?“
and I was like “waht?“
Mam: “like are ye sure, he`s the one?”
Me: “no, how am I suppose to know?”
Mam: “ok dun get preg wit him cos yis mite not stay 4evr or sumtin like that”
i didn`t answer er back and jus walked away. I was fREAKIN maddd! How in earth ar we to kno whether we`re stayin with that “someone” for gud or not? unless we try? agh. No one is ever certain whether ppl stay 2geda 4ver?? do we! she dusn even kno tha herself. She told me not to spend so much time with him jus in case we break up, or don give it all, WTF!!! I dun even know wat to explain or say. there wer o much in me head but it jus to much to even expose al of it in public yeno.
Another Instance!!
Stephen and his family wanted me to spend the night with them in Clonmel, Tipperary. That`s quite faraway now, bout 3 hrs drive away from me house? Dunno rly. Nehu, I was invited cos it`s Popeye`s [Stephen Granda`s] 1st year Death Anniversary. And my KILL-JOY parents wont allow me.They said, they “TRUST” me but they dun trust Stephen. Ok lammmmest excuse Iv ever heard! What`s that suppose to mean? They sed I mite get pregnant & stuff like that. If we rely wanna av sex then we wudve, we av all the choices, chances and time we av, no matter waht they say, no matter how hard they try to stop us. It`s not like we`re rly gon listen to em for real? For FUCKSAKE! we`re teenagers, the more ya stop us, the more we do the things we`re not allowed and suppose to do rite? We tend to REBEL, dun we? I tink we do newi. Ok wel I`m not a teenager but like we`re ony 20. They av once been in the same position, I dun wan end up bein like me ma. She was kinda old, like in mid 30`s when she got married and preg, I told em I kinda wan start me own fam bout 25`s or so, if time allows or sud i say if tings go rite, fingers cross! xD If not, then ahwel. haha! ( tat`s guna suck tho!) And waht I dun understand is I`m not allowed jus in case i get preg, god, it`s not like we`re guna do stuffs in front o his family? we`ll need more privacy than tat, hahaha! ony messin. Like the whole clan`s guna be there, dun think it`s the best idea to be honest, we`ll avta leave it to rest for that nite! haha.
Like, Susan, Ste`s sister, who is younger than me, is allowed to go out wenver she wants. If i avta go out I gun avtaask PERMISSION. yup, ya heard it rite, permission, it is! Aarrrgh. Wel not wehn town, but like if its nite out or stayin out late and all that. sucks!! She, I meant, evryone else av more freedom than I do. and like if i go out today, 2mo that means i avta stay at home the next day or so? Sumtin like tat!!
Stephen says (Imagine that, he even understand em, I dun) tat they`re jus mad protective parents but I tink, it`s selfishness, not being “protective” 
I Won’t and i mean WON`T stop askin em, til they say YES! hahah :p

oh dear, well, not all relationship are perfect, but on the other hand, you’d never know if yours is perfect or not unless you give it a try. I dont think that conversation should even be there in the first place. well, if you love him, I dont see any reasons why people must be so skeptical about it either. well, dont get pregnant huh? LOL well, you know the protections, don’t you? LOL thats really funny actually, although I know you are pissed.

hahah. Parents are meant to be like that! Im already 21 and I am not allowed to go to sleepovers and and should always be home before 12mn. modern day cinderella indeed! LOL. And you know what reason they give me when I ask why? they said that its not that they dont trust me, its just that the people around me are not all trustworthy and some other lame excuses.
I know!! It’s the eyes!! =)) Even I get mistaken as Chinese sometimes, and my eyes aren’t even that little!! Haha! Infact, they’re really big!! =S
Ah!! Parents are really paranoid, no? =(( Hmm, I do love when they get over protective of you, cause atleast you know that they still care.. but sometimes… Aaahh, it’s like you just want to break free from their hold!!

I think its mostly just Filipinos who have uber strict parents ( some don’t and they are damn lucky). Mind you I am turning 21 and I still have a curfew. It’s just that they are applying what they are used to in the Philippines to you.
I have grown up here in Australia, but my parents still use the uber conservative rules from the Philippines. Hindi ka nag iisa.

My parents have slowly lighten up, I have ran away and stuff like that when I was in my teens, but it doesn’t change anything, and most importantly it doesnt prove anything either, just learn to work with them
